• Expands the Children and Family Services Act to allow DCFS to continue providing care, services, and support to eligible youth up to age 23, including housing and independent living services.

• Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 to extend wardship duration and allow reinstatement of wardship for youth ages 18-23 (previously 18-21) who need continued court oversight and services.
