IL HB1355

Amends the Bond Authorization Act by adding Section 8 regarding tax levy authority for public corporations.

Prohibits public corporations from levying taxes in connection with bond payments beyond the maturity date of the bond or discharge of the debt, whichever occurs first.

Does not impair any contracts that existed prior to the effective date of this amendment.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
