Illinois ratifies and approves the Physical Therapy Licensure Compact to facilitate interstate practice of physical therapy while preserving state regulatory authority through existing state licensure systems.

Establishes the Physical Therapy Compact Commission with members selected from each member state's licensing board, with powers to adopt rules, maintain a shared data system, and oversee licensure and adverse action information across states.

Grants "compact privilege" allowing physical therapists and assistants with valid unencumbered licenses to practice in other member states if they meet requirements including a clean disciplinary record within 2 years, jurisprudence requirements, and applicable fees.

Member states must implement criminal background checks using FBI records, participate in the Commission's data system, and report adverse actions; home states retain exclusive power to discipline their own licensees while remote states can remove compact privileges.

Compact becomes effective upon enactment in the tenth member state; states may withdraw with 6 months' notice, and the compact may only be amended by enactment in all member states.
