Restores firearms restraining orders to a maximum of 6 months (removing the up to one-year provision) and eliminates the ability to renew such orders for additional periods.

Repeals the ban on possessing, manufacturing, selling, or purchasing assault weapons, assault weapon attachments, and .50 caliber rifles that was set to take effect January 1, 2024.

Repeals the prohibition on manufacturing, delivering, selling, or possessing large capacity ammunition feeding devices with specified exemptions.

Repeals the ban on devices designed to increase the rate of fire of semiautomatic firearms above standard rates.

Repeals the exemption from public disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act for certain information concerning assault weapons endorsements received by the Illinois State Police.
