Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to fund after-school, art-based programs in schools with low-income pupil enrollment greater than 70% as certified by the Department of Human Services

Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Arts Council for community art programs located in census tracts at 125% below the poverty level according to the United States Census Bureau

Illinois Arts Council shall administer arts education and art therapy programs using appropriated funds

Becomes effective July 1, 2023
