IL HB1632

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to add Section 12-4.13e establishing automatic Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligibility for all foster families regardless of income.

Makes SNAP eligibility automatic for foster families subject to obtaining any required federal approval or waivers.

Requires the Department of Human Services to apply for any necessary federal waivers or approvals to implement the automatic eligibility provision.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
