IL HB2071

Prohibits insurers, dental service plan corporations, professional service corporations, insurance network leasing companies, and related entities from charging dental care providers fees to access or obtain payment and reimbursement for services provided.

Applies to individual and group accident and health insurance policies amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after the effective date of this act.

Requires dental plan carriers to provide dental care providers with 100% of the contracted amount for payment or reimbursement, with no deductions for access fees.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
