Amends the Radiation Protection Act of 1990 to require individuals seeking limited scope diagnostic radiography accreditation to pass an Agency-approved examination before applying ionizing radiation to human beings.

Removes the "student-in-training" registration category that previously allowed 16-month training periods without accreditation; individuals must now be fully accredited before performing radiography procedures.

Requires examinations to include both a standardized component covering general diagnostic radiography principles and a clinical component specific to the procedures being sought.

Allows the Agency to assess reasonable fees for examinations to cover costs incurred in administering them.

Maintains exemptions for physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, nurses, technicians, or other assistants performing radiation services on employees at medical facilities owned and operated by their employer.
