Excludes temporary election work from the definition of "in service" under the Cook County pension article in the Illinois Pension Code.

Allows employee annuitants who work as election workers for 60 days or less during a calendar year to continue receiving their annuity without suspension and without being considered "in service."

Requires annuity suspension or cancellation retroactive to the re-entry date if an employee annuitant works as an election worker for longer than 60 days during a calendar year.

Specifies that election workers serving 60 days or less are not entitled to benefits for employees in service.
