IL HB2434

Requires the Department on Aging, Department of Children and Family Services, Department of Human Services, and Department of Public Health to provide technical assistance training to local governmental entities and not-for-profit human service organizations in Illinois seeking to procure grants.

Prioritizes technical assistance for entities that are current grant recipients routinely noncompliant with grant award requirements and entities that lost Department grant funding in the last 5 years and are seeking to reapply.

Each affected department must adopt rules necessary to implement these grant assistance provisions.

Effective date is July 1, 2023.
