IL HB2457

Amends the Property Tax Code Section 18-50.2 to require taxing districts with aggregate property tax levies exceeding $5,000,000 to compile vendor information data into a report at least once per levy year.

Mandates submission of compiled vendor reports to the Comptroller's Local Government Division for publication on the Comptroller's website, with the Comptroller required to accept and publish those reports.

Requires vendor data collection to include information on minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned business status, as well as certifications under the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Women, and Persons with Disabilities Act.

Allows taxing districts to use existing software to comply with reporting requirements.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
