Expands crash reporting requirements to include vehicle crashes involving school buses or occurring within 50 feet of a school bus with resulting property damage, personal injury, or death.

Requires drivers involved in reportable crashes to provide immediate notice by fastest available means of communication to local police department (if in municipality) or county sheriff/Illinois State Police (if outside municipality) when no police officer is present.

Authorizes Secretary of State to suspend driver's license or nonresident driving privileges of any person who fails or neglects to report a crash as required by state law.

Replaces references to "accident" with "crash" throughout the Illinois Vehicle Code sections 7-201, 7-201.1, 11-404, 11-407, and 11-414 and consolidates reporting requirements under Section 11-407.

Maintains existing property damage thresholds of $1,500 ($500 for uninsured vehicles subject to liability insurance requirements) for crashes requiring formal written reports.
