Extends the deadline for the Municipal Water and Wastewater Funding Study Committee to submit its report from January 31, 2023 to March 1, 2024.

Adds the Executive Director of the Illinois Finance Authority as a member of the Committee.

Delays the repeal of the Committee from January 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025.

Committee shall study modifications to state regulations and policies regarding municipal water and wastewater funding, with focus on disadvantaged communities, environmental justice, emerging contaminants like PFAS, and regional water partnerships.

Committee members serve without compensation and fill vacancies through the same appointment process as original appointments.
