Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to include air ambulance services in the definition of "ambulance services" for Medicaid reimbursement purposes.

Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to increase reimbursement rates for air ambulance services to not less than 75% of Medicare ambulance fee schedule rates by designated Medicare locality, effective July 1, 2023.

Defines "air ambulance service" as medical transport by helicopter or airplane for patients, consistent with federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services definitions.

Applies the same reimbursement principles and payment methodologies used for ground ambulance services to air ambulance services under Medicaid.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
