State Board of Elections must create a standardized form for election authorities to use when removing voters from registration rolls.

Changes county clerk duties from permissive ("may") to mandatory ("shall") regarding issuance of death record certifications from the electronic death registration system established under the Vital Records Act.

County clerks are now required to use the electronic death registration system to cancel voter registrations for individuals who died during the preceding month.

County clerks must continue monthly examination of death records deposited in their office and cancel registrations of deceased voters from the preceding month, whether or not an electronic system is established.
