• County clerks must (rather than may) issue death certifications and cancel registrations of deceased voters monthly using the electronic reporting system for death registrations.

• County coroners, medical examiners, physicians, and others responsible for death certification must transmit certified death records to the county clerk within 7 days after death.

• County clerks and coroners must report quarterly to their county boards certifying full compliance with voter roll accuracy requirements; individuals can request copies and sue for injunctive relief if reports are not provided within 5 business days (or 48 hours before an election), with civil penalties of $2,500 to $5,000 per violation.

• Political committees are prohibited from using funds to pay attorneys, expert witnesses, investigators, or others to provide criminal case defense.

• Creates an Office of Election Integrity within the Attorney General's office to investigate election law violations and irregularities, develop a voter fraud hotline within 90 days, and submit annual reports by January 15 detailing investigations and complaints from the prior calendar year.
