IL HB2944

Amends the Election Code by adding Section 3-1.5 regarding voter registration requirements for students.

Prohibits a person from registering to vote in an election district where they attend an educational institution unless they also reside in that same election district.

Overrides existing provisions in Section 3-1 of the Election Code that may allow voter registration based on attendance at an educational institution alone.
