IL HB2995

Amends the Foster Parent Law to establish an initial payment of $480 per child to be made within 21 days of permanent placement.

Requires that if the final monthly payment for a child is $480 or more, the $480 initial payment shall be deducted from that final payment.

Specifies that if the final monthly payment is less than $480, the final monthly payment shall not be made.

Adds foster parent rights including receiving information from the Department and child welfare agencies as required under the Children and Family Services Act and Child Care Act of 1969.
