IL HB3073

Amends the Election Code Section 10-10 to require the electoral board chair to send notice of objections to nominations by registered or certified mail to the election authority and appropriate county clerk, in addition to existing recipients.

Expands the recipients of the electoral board's call/notice to include the election authority to whom the ballot is certified and the appropriate county clerk.

Maintains all existing requirements for the electoral board's procedures, including the timeline for meetings (within 3-5 days of receiving objections), authority to subpoena witnesses, and issuance of written findings.

Requires the electoral board to transmit its certified ruling to both the election authority and county clerk upon expiration of the judicial review period, ensuring these officials receive and comply with the board's decision.
