Amends the PFAS Reduction Act to require the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency to establish a take-back program for PFAS-containing firefighting foam used and stored by local fire departments and fire protection districts.

Fire departments and fire protection districts that participated in the most recent PFAS survey are eligible to participate in the program, but participation is voluntary.

The program shall provide funding and resources to ensure proper destruction of PFAS-containing firefighting foam.

The program must commence within 6 months of the effective date and continue for 5 years or until the Office of the State Fire Marshal reports no PFAS firefighting foam in the survey.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
