IL HB3139

Requires domestic and foreign non-profit corporations to include aggregated demographic information of directors and officers in annual reports filed with the Secretary of State, covering race, ethnicity, gender, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Mandates corporations post the aggregated demographic information to their publicly available website within 30 calendar days of filing the annual report, if a website exists.

Requires demographic information remain accessible on the corporation's website for at least 5 years after posting.

Allows corporations to fulfill the posting requirement by posting the full annual report on their website instead of just the demographic information.

Becomes effective January 1, 2024.
