IL HB3232

Removes language authorizing the Department of Human Services to raise parent co-payments for child care assistance.

Establishes a $1 monthly co-payment fee for families earning at or below 140% of federal poverty guidelines, effective July 1, 2023.

Increases the income threshold to 185% of federal poverty guidelines for the $1 monthly co-payment, effective July 1, 2024.

Allows co-payments to be waived for families whose incomes are at or below the federal poverty level.
