IL HB3264

Enacts the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact, allowing audiologists and speech-language pathologists licensed in one member state to practice in other member states under a "compact privilege."

Establishes the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Compact Commission with representatives from member states to promulgate rules, maintain a data system tracking licensure and disciplinary actions, and oversee compact administration.

Requires applicants for compact privilege to hold an active, unencumbered license in their home state, meet specified education and examination requirements, and have no adverse actions in the previous 2 years.

Allows practitioners to provide services via telehealth in member states and designates special rules for active duty military personnel and their spouses to maintain a home state designation during military service.

Compact becomes effective when 10 states enact it; member states may withdraw with 6 months notice, and the compact may be amended only when all member states enact the amendment.
