Amends the Community-Integrated Living Arrangements Licensure and Certification Act by adding Section 13.3 regarding occupancy factor and reimbursement during medical absences.

Division of Developmental Disabilities of the Department of Human Services shall provide 50% of per diem reimbursement to providers when a resident is temporarily absent for medically required reasons while the provider holds the vacancy.

Absent residents are authorized to return to their community integrated living arrangement once they are medically able to do so.

Defines "medically required absences" as temporary absences for medical treatment or reasons recommended by medical personnel, including hospitalizations, short-term stabilization placements, nursing facility stays, rehabilitation in long-term care facilities, or other legitimate medical reasons.
