HB3384 Summary

• Requires members of the General Assembly to serve on the Illinois Child Death Review Teams Executive Council and attend all Executive Council meetings.

• Permits General Assembly members to attend all Executive meetings, Director meetings with the Executive Council, and regional Child Death Review team meetings.

• Adds a new purpose to child death review teams: to share specific recommendations with the General Assembly regarding prevention of child deaths due to abuse or neglect and establishment of investigation protocols.

• Amends the Child Death Review Team Act by modifying Sections 15 and 20 of 20 ILCS 515.
