IL HB3400

Department of Labor must report quarterly (instead of annually by February 1) to the General Assembly and Governor on public works employment in the State.

Reports must cover the preceding 3 months (instead of calendar year) and identify every public works project by project name and contractor name.

Reports must include worker demographics by percentage for gender, race, and ethnicity, broken down by trade type, journey worker versus apprentice status, and total work hours performed.

Removes previous reporting requirement for employment and hours worked data organized by 5-digit zip codes of workers' residences.
