Establishes a 2-year pilot program by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to provide medically supportive food coupons to medical assistance recipients through managed care health plans.

Food prescriptions may be issued by licensed physicians or health care providers for treatment of type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, hypertension, high-risk pregnancy, depression, anxiety, obesity, fatty liver disease, and dyslipidemia.

Coupon holders may redeem coupons at participating food retailers, including farmers markets in food deserts and grocery stores that accept SNAP benefits; the Department may provide incentives to retailers to participate.

Department shall evaluate the pilot program's impact on health outcomes, health disparities, medication adherence, medical appointment attendance, and member satisfaction, with findings and recommendations due to the General Assembly by January 1, 2026.

Effective immediately upon becoming law.
