Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act to require the Department of Children and Family Services to share its completed investigative report with the State's Attorney upon request, subject to confidentiality requirements and existing law.

Permits the State's Attorney to conduct independent, concurrent investigations of child abuse and neglect cases alongside the Department's investigation.

Requires the State's Attorney to notify the Department's central register by toll-free telephone when beginning an independent investigation in their capacity as a mandated reporter.

Mandates the State's Attorney to share findings and determinations with the Department upon completion of their independent investigation.

Allows law enforcement personnel to investigate suspected child abuse or neglect concurrently with the Department without regard to whether the Department determines a report as "indicated," "unfounded," or "undetermined."
