Creates the Air Quality in Schools Task Force to study and make recommendations on air quality goals for elementary, middle, and high schools in Illinois.

Task force directed to assess current ventilation systems in schools, develop processes to improve ventilation, and identify potential State and federal funding sources.

Membership consists of 15 members including representatives appointed by legislative leaders, the Governor, State Board of Education, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, school boards, labor unions, and two parent representatives.

State Board of Education shall provide administrative assistance and necessary staff support services to the task force.

Task force shall issue a report containing air quality goals, ventilation assessment processes, ventilation improvement processes, and funding source recommendations.
