Off-highway vehicle trails public access sticker is a separate requirement from the Off-Highway Vehicle Usage Stamp, required to operate off-highway vehicles in public parks funded by the state grant program.

Sticker fees are $30 for 3 years for individuals, $50 for 3 years for rental units, $75 for dealer/manufacturer demonstrations, $50 for agricultural use vehicles, $50 for out-of-state residents without reciprocal agreements, and $50 for vehicles without titles.

$5 from each sticker sale is deposited into the new Tick Research, Education, and Evaluation (TREE) Fund for tick research, education, and evaluation expenses.

Remaining sticker fees are deposited into the Off-Highway Vehicle Trails Fund for improvements to Illinois State Parks.

Department may enter reciprocal agreements with other states to allow their residents to operate vehicles without purchasing Illinois stickers, and may license vendors to sell stickers.
