Establishes the Opioid Crisis Committee within the Department of Human Services to study the opioid crisis nationally and statewide.

Committee shall develop strategies and policies to reduce opioid overdoses and deaths in Illinois with equitable accessibility across historically marginalized groups and rural and urban areas.

Committee membership consists of members appointed by the Department of Human Services, which shall provide administrative assistance and staff support.

Committee must issue a report with findings and strategies to the General Assembly and Governor, then dissolves upon report delivery.

Provisions automatically repeal on January 1, 2027.
