• Allows mathematics courses that include geometry content to be offered as integrated, applied, interdisciplinary, or career and technical education courses that prepare students for career readiness paths.

• Duplicates language about geometry course offerings in both subsection (e) covering requirements through the 2023-2024 school year and subsection (e-5) covering requirements beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.

• Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, requires two years of laboratory science instead of two years of science, and makes the computer literacy course a permanent requirement rather than temporary.

• Beginning with the 2028-2029 school year, adds a requirement of two years of foreign language courses (which may include American Sign Language) for high school graduation.

• Takes effect June 30, 2024.
