Requires hospitals to publish their annual community benefits plan reports on their websites in a prominent location, alongside annual reports or on the homepage.

Hospitals must publicly report charity care costs (including emergency department charity care as a subset), total net patient revenue, and total community benefits spending.

Hospitals must disclose financial assistance application data including the number of complete and incomplete applications submitted, applications approved, and the five most frequent reasons for denials.

Requires demographic reporting (race, ethnicity, sex, preferred language) for financial assistance applications beginning with reports filed on or after July 1, 2022, with hospitals indicating when full-year demographic data is unavailable.

Attorney General must post notice on their website informing the public they can request copies of hospital reports filed with the Attorney General.
