Removes the requirement that driver's license applicants age 75 and older must demonstrate their ability to safely operate a motor vehicle through an actual road test.

Eliminates the mandatory practical demonstration for license renewal applicants age 75 and older, making them subject to the same examination standards as other applicants.

Amends Section 6-109 of the Illinois Vehicle Code to allow the Secretary of State discretion in determining the form of examination for all applicants, rather than mandating a road test for seniors.

Takes effect January 1, 2024.
