Allows law enforcement agencies to sell confiscated weapons at public auction under the Law Enforcement Disposition of Property Act when weapons are no longer needed for evidence and no legitimate claim has been made for them.

Expands firearm disposal options for domestic violence order of protection cases, permitting law enforcement to sell firearms at public auction (in addition to destruction or training use) when respondents cannot be located, fail to retrieve weapons, or are ineligible to possess firearms.

Authorizes weapons confiscated as abandoned or illegally possessed to be sold at public auction under the Law Enforcement Disposition of Property Act.

Applies to confiscated weapons in criminal cases, domestic violence protection orders, and mental health facility admissions.
