IL HB4103

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections (730 ILCS 5/5-8A-4) regarding electronic monitoring and home detention programs.

Deletes subsection (A-1), which previously required persons ordered to pretrial home confinement to be provided with movement opportunities spread across no fewer than two days per week for basic activities.

Removes the specification that "days" meant a reasonable time period during a calendar day as outlined by the court in the home confinement order.

Retains all other conditions of home detention, including approved absences for employment, medical treatment, education, religious services, and groceries.
