IL HB4149

Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code to require the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to provide family planning and family planning-related services and supplies to lawful permanent residents and other noncitizens on the same basis as U.S. citizens.

Eligible noncitizens must meet all other eligibility qualifications under the HFS Family Planning Program as established in accordance with Illinois' Family Planning State Plan Amendment approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Prohibits the Department from requiring lawful permanent residents or other noncitizens who are otherwise eligible for family planning services to complete a mandatory waiting period as a condition of receiving medical coverage.
