Amends the Illinois Municipal Code to allow municipalities to use hotel operators' occupation tax and hotel use tax revenues for funding police officer and firefighter pension obligations under Articles 3, 4, 5, or 6 of the Illinois Pension Code, in addition to tourism promotion purposes.

Modifies Section 8-3-13 to permit amounts disbursed from municipal hotel operators' occupation tax to be expended for pension funding or tourism promotion.

Modifies Section 8-3-14 to permit amounts collected from municipal hotel operators' occupation tax to be expended for pension funding or tourism promotion.

Modifies Section 8-3-14a to permit amounts collected from municipal hotel use tax to be expended for pension funding or tourism promotion.

Updates Sections 8-3-14b and 8-3-14c regarding DuPage County municipalities to align pension funding authorization with the amended expenditure purposes, with these sections scheduled for repeal on January 1, 2025.
