Authorizes the Illinois Secretary of State to issue special "Defense Superior Service" license plates to recipients of the Defense Superior Service Medal from U.S. armed forces branches who reside in Illinois.

Plates may be affixed to passenger vehicles of the first division, motorcycles, and motor vehicles of the second division weighing not more than 8,000 pounds.

Plates shall display the Defense Superior Service Medal and may be issued as vanity or personalized plates at the Secretary's discretion.

No registration fees, including standard fees under Section 3-806, shall be charged for issuance or renewal of these plates.

Each individual is limited to one free pair of plates issued under this section, with eligibility requirements and documentation to be determined by the Secretary of State.
