Removes requirement for mandated reporters to submit written confirmation of child abuse or neglect reports to Child Protective Service Units within 48 hours of initial telephone reports.

Requires Child Protective Service Units to send final finding reports to schools within 10 days of completing investigations when reports of physical or sexual abuse are indicated, marked as confidential.

During summer school closures, indicated finding reports shall be sent to the last school the child attended.

Maintains requirement that Department orally notify local law enforcement and State's Attorney within 24 hours of reports involving child death, serious injury, torture, malnutrition, or sexual abuse of children age 12 and under, with written confirmation within 24 hours.

Establishes posting requirement for notice stating that knowingly transmitting false reports constitutes disorderly conduct under Criminal Code, classified as a Class 4 felony.
