Moves the Illinois Certified Shorthand Reporters Act of 1984 from the January 1, 2025 repeal date to January 1, 2030 under the Regulatory Sunset Act.

Requires all applicants and licensees to provide and maintain a valid email address of record with the Department, with changes to be reported within 14 days.

Adds federal individual taxpayer identification number as an alternative to Social Security Number on license applications.

Updates language throughout the Act to use gender-neutral pronouns (e.g., "the reporter's" instead of "his or her") and corrects technical references.

Allows service of Department notices by regular mail or email to licensee's address of record or email address of record, and clarifies that certain record certification exhibits may be provided without cost.
