Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act (325 ILCS 5/7.2) to modify law enforcement assistance provisions for child protective investigators.

Allows law enforcement from any police jurisdiction in Illinois to provide assistance to child protective investigators responding to high-risk reports of child abuse or neglect when assistance is unavailable from law enforcement with primary jurisdiction.

Establishes that Child Protective Service Units must be organized within geographic regions designated by the Department Director.

Requires Child Protective Service Units to designate members to receive specialty training in child sexual abuse, child deaths and injuries, and out-of-home investigations.
