Amends the Mold Remediation Registration Act to require the Department of Public Health to establish a public awareness campaign about mold dangers, toxic compounds, testing methods, and remediation standards.

Expands the definition of "mold" to include specific fungal types such as Cladosporium, Penicillium, Alternaria, Aspergillus, Fusarium, Trichoderma, Memnoniella, Mucor, and Stachybotrys chartarum.

Adds "third-party certification" definition to include certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, National Organization of Remediators and Microbial Inspectors, or other Department-approved nonprofit organizations.

Changes the Department's rulemaking authority from discretionary ("may") to mandatory ("shall") for implementing registration and financial responsibility requirements for mold remediation service providers.

Requires the Department to review mold identification and remediation technologies every 5 years to assess whether they provide additional public health protections based on new scientific evidence.
