Exempts persons found to need mental health treatment or services from the 48-hour hearing requirement that normally applies when a person remains in pretrial detention after being ordered released with conditions.

Requires courts to hold hearings every 7 to 10 days for persons in pretrial detention who need mental health treatment or services, with reevaluations continuing until adequate mental health treatment or services can be obtained after release.

Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 by modifying Section 110-5 regarding bail determinations and conditions of release.
