Creates a Diversity and Inclusion in Business Organization and Nonprofit Organization Leadership Task Force within the Office of the Secretary of State to identify ways to increase diversity in business and nonprofit leadership.

Task Force membership includes the Secretary of State as chair, one House member appointed by the Speaker, one House member appointed by the Minority Leader, one Senate member appointed by the President, one Senate member appointed by the Minority Leader, and five members representing women-owned, minority-owned, disability-owned, or LGBTQ+-owned businesses and nonprofits appointed by the Secretary of State.

Task Force shall survey underrepresentation of women, minorities, persons with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ members in business and nonprofit leadership and review relevant statutes including the Business Corporation Act of 1983, Limited Liability Company Act, General Not for Profit Corporation Act of 1986, and Illinois Procurement Code.

All members must be appointed by October 1, 2024, and the Task Force shall meet quarterly during 2025.

Task Force shall submit findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by January 1, 2026, and the Task Force is dissolved on January 1, 2027.
