Starting January 1, 2025, foster families caring for pregnant or parenting youth in care and their children become eligible for additional foster care payments from the Department of Children and Family Services.

The parenting youth must be the full-time custodial parent of any child for which the foster family requests additional payment.

The Department may establish rules defining which costs and expenses qualify as "reasonable costs" eligible for the additional payments.

The Department has rulemaking authority to implement all provisions of this subsection.
