IL HB4769

Amends the Public-Private Partnerships for Transportation Act (630 ILCS 5/70) to add requirements regarding unhoused individuals at transportation project sites.

Requires each responsible public entity to explore and identify whether unhoused individuals live near or at a transportation project site before the project begins.

Mandates that responsible public entities contact and coordinate with the Department of Human Services to relocate identified unhoused individuals until the project is completed.
