Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to authorize the Secretary of State to issue special registration plates designated as Air Medal plates to eligible Illinois residents.

Air Medal plates may be affixed only to passenger vehicles of the first division, motorcycles, and motor vehicles of the second division weighing not more than 8,000 pounds.

Plates must display the Air Medal, with design and color details left to the discretion of the Secretary of State.

Plates expire according to the multi-year registration procedure established by Section 3-414.1 of the Illinois Vehicle Code.

Secretary of State may allow Air Medal plates to be issued as vanity or personalized plates in accordance with Section 3-405.1 of the Code, with applicants required to provide appropriate documentation as determined by the Secretary.
