Prohibits ranked-choice voting methods in all Illinois elections for local, state, and federal offices, defining the prohibited method as allowing voters to rank candidates in order of preference with ballots tabulated in multiple rounds until a candidate attains a majority.

Voids any ordinance adopted by counties, municipalities, or other units of local government before or after the effective date of this act that conflicts with the ranked-choice voting prohibition.

Removes the existing provision in the Election Code that allowed municipalities to adopt ordinances requiring ranked-choice ballots for municipal and township office candidates in consolidated elections for military members and voters outside the United States.
