Department of Public Health must conduct a feasibility study on implementing electronic birth certificates in Illinois.

Study must determine implementation costs and provide an estimated timeline for rollout of electronic birth certificates.

Study findings must be submitted to the General Assembly by December 31, 2026.

Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law by adding Section 2310-730 to the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.

Effective immediately upon enactment.
